As luck would have it...rain was pouring this day! Luckily there were a few spots that were covered and we could sneak in a couple quick shots! It's always so hard to work around the weather. Especially this time of year. I think everyone waits until fall/early winter to do their family pictures so they have them for Christmas cards and it seems I'm always busy this time of year. If I were to choose a time though I would say SPRING! I love the spring! Everything starts to green up and look so fresh! I'm holding out for the spring to have our family pictures done...which might have more to do with losing weight than time of year :)
Well enough of my soapbox...enjoy!
This just cracks me up....

Photog Friday Week 3 {Eye pop}
Once again I'm posting for the challenge over at The Creative Crate. This wasn't really a challenge because I cheat and use an action for this. I L.O.V.E Morgan Kervin and her free Eye Love action. Morgan shares tons of tips and tricks about Photoshop and Photography.
Clearly I edited some other stuff too, but I just love this little guy I got to shoot the other day. Isn't he adorable?

Catching up
Oh the holidays....I can't seem to stay on top of anything! Especially my house cleaning, but what's new, really? Here's what I've been up to lately...I sure have been enjoying myself!
A little fun with the {A} family! Their little girl is just so yummy! You might remember her from here.
BABY {L}
Can you stand how cute this red hair is? I am so in love with this little guy. He was an angel and SOOOOOOOO Darling!
BABY {B}
Babies, Babies everywhere!!! This sweetie was 5 weeks old and really didn't want to do any curling up for me, but she was so good and cute!
And here is her cute little family! It was pouring rain so we did our best. They were great sports! I can't get enough of this cute little guy and his umbrella! I was so glad they brought that along, not out of necessity, but sheer cuteness!
And last but surely not least....here's a little Christmas cheer from the my brother and sis in law the {S} Family! Merry Christmas everyone!

Photog Friday Week 2
I have so much to post lately but I am so behind with the holidays! Here is a rather LAME picture, but I'm bound and determined to complete all of these Photog Friday "missions" (ha) over at The Creative Crate. So here is my bokeh picture...yeah, the horse was the only thing small around and my kids were being less than helpful at the time! I had fun playing around trying to get this to work and I'm hoping that sometime this week we'll go downtown to see the lights and I'll give it another go!

Photog Friday {Beautify It} Week 1
The Creative Crate has a fun little thing they are starting called Photog Friday. For the first we we took an image and did an edit to it. This is the SOOC image by Camilla
And my edit
I was originally just warming the image and cropping it because I thought the model's face was so beautiful. I enhanced her eyes just a bit too and then I decided I liked the feel of it all in black and white so I ran the Nelly Nero Classic Black and White action. (It's my FAVORITE for bw images!)
I think this will be a fun little thing to participate in...and will hopefully teach me some tricks. Let's face it...I may have called this blog a "photography" blog, but I've still got a long way to go!
