Newborn

Here is my first attempt at newborn photography! What I've learned? It's tricky! Number one, I typically shoot outdoors and where I don't have a "studio" I had to do a bit more prep work. Number two, babies don't do what you want them to! I think it would be a lot easier the first week they are born and this little guy is almost 3 weeks old. I have a lot of other ideas I would like to try...good thing I know quite a few more babies coming soon! Isn't this little guy so handsome??? Oh yea, he's mine :)

Warner Family

Sometimes it's a lot easier to shoot pictures when you know the people. You know their personalities and what they like. This shoot was so fun for me to do for those very reasons! And what a little beauty their little girl is!!! All the kids were darling, but she was so stinkin' photogenic! Thanks guys for a fun afternoon!

Once again I didn't learn my lesson and the place we were shooting was RESERVED! In all of my years of knowing this place, I had NO IDEA you could reserve it! Not all of the grounds were off limits so we got a few shots in, but the main places were not in the stars for us! One day I'll figure it out!

This was my first time meeting this DARLING family. Seriously...the cutest kids ever with the most polite parents! (Especially considering my mistakes!) I spent a lot of time with them (probably more than they wanted!!!) and I had a blast!

Martin Family...AGAIN

Yep, it's fall with the Martin's again! I LOVE this family and we had blast with these pictures. It was the perfect day minus a little bit of a breeze, but we made do and had FUN. These guys are so easy going and just let me do what I want. Their little girl had a mind of her own (her mom says it's her princess attitude!) but she was so much fun to shoot. I love the pink!

We had a rough time with the location for these! The place we were originally going had just changed their winter hours starting that day...guess that taught me that as a photographer I should probably always check things like that :) We tried Gardner Village next and it was the Wee Witches Weekend, but we were able to get some shots that didn't include Halloween decorations! The ones of just the kids are so darling, but I especially love their cute girl and all her freckles! I think she is so beautiful...

Baptism Photos

Isn't she beautiful? I was thrilled with how these pictures turned out! And these are only a FEW of the shots we got! I don't know what they'll ever do with so many pictures, but I couldn't resist taking tons of this cutie!

Check out these cuties! These kids were such posers! We had A LOT of sunlight to work around and it was VERY hot, but these guys were such good sports!

Webb Wedding...

I can't take all the credit for these, I was definitely more of the sidekick on this shoot! This was my first ever wedding and boy what a big job that is! Not to mention the endless hours of editing! It was wonderful to be able to share this special day with the new Mr. and Mrs. Webb!
